The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring that project deliverables align with organizational goals. The Project Specialist will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and documentation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate resources and team schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to the project manager as needed.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and status updates.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is advantageous.
